Rockets Launch Pad Stage 1 Learn To Play for ages 4+ (Start Dates are in the class name) FULL HOCKEY GEAR IS REQUIRED FOR THESE PROGRAMS

Learn to Skate USA BASIC 1 or equivalent is Required before registering for Launch Pad 1. This program will be the first stage of 3 to gain the skills necessary to play on a Full Season Team. We will focus on skating skills used for hockey. Skaters will learn a variety of skills ranging from forward skating to backward skating, on one and two feet, stick handling, and some game instruction. This will be a 6 week session. We will offer 8 sessions throughout the year.

Launch Pad Stage 2 (Start Dates are in the class name)

Stage 2 will focus on some team practice type skills. We will continue to work on skating skills and we will work on passing, shooting, skating with a puck and other skills needed to be able to participate in a team practice. This will be a 6 week session. We will offer 8 sessions throughout the year.

Launch Pad Stage 3 In House Play. (Start Dates are in the class name)

This program is for the player that is ready to graduate from lessons and is ready to commit to 2 times a week for hockey. Players will have one practice and one game a week. All games will be played at Tacoma Twin Rinks. There will be 3- 8 week seasons for this program. The Seasons start late September or early October and with the 3 season ending in March. Each player will also get a team jersey.
